Did you know that the company match at Blown Away Salon could pay you as much as $64,000.00 over a 20 year career?
How does the match work?
If you choose to save 5% of your pay, the company doubles the first 3% and pays half of the next 2%. Example: If your paycheck is $3000, you contribute $150.
- *Since $90 is 3% of $3000, the company adds $90 to your contribution.
- *Since $60 is 2% of $3000, the company also gives you $30.
- So, $150 from you and $120 from the salon are all placed into your 401k. A total of $270.
- Since you’re not taxed on that $150, typically the take-home pay from this check would only be about $130 less than it would have been.
After a 20-year career, this type of account could expect to have over $300,000.00 in it.
